Today we started recording trail work for the ECTA toward our 72 hours of service. Our mission: hike in to clear a downed oak limb and other miscellaneous debris that came down with some recent windy weather.
If you look in the trees to the left below, you'll see the marker for trail #79 in Willowdale West.
We're ready to go!
I cut the fallen limb back several feet from the trail and bucked everything up into small pieces so that the kids could help clear the trail.
The trail is clear again for all to enjoy!
